The 29th International Symposium on Superconductivity (ISS2016) will be held at Tokyo International Forum on December 13−15, 2016. Tokyo International Forum was built in 1996 for creating a new face of Tokyo as an international city, on the former site of old offices of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It is located beside JR Yurakucho Station and only 5 minutes walk from Tokyo Station, situated in the heart of Tokyo. You may have a pleasant walk in nearby parks, such as the Garden Plaza* that is a part of Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace. It is one of the representative parks in Japan, in which 2,000 black pine trees in the lawn area blend in very well with the "Yaguras“ (old watch towers), old gates and several moats, which are historical remnants of the 400-year-old Edo Castle. Also, you can enjoy shopping in the Ginza area that is just within a walking distance.
