Selection Process

1) Best Poster Presentation Award
The awards selection is based on criteria prescribed by ISS Organizing Committee. The results scored by Program Committee of each area (PC, ED, WB, AP) and the Session chairs are compiled by ISS Secretariat, deliberated at ISS Organizing Committee, decided by ISS General chair, and AIST awards the winner.

2) Best Student Prize
Based on a format prescribed by ISS Organizing Committee, it is recommended by Co-chair and Sub-chair of each Program Committee (PC, ED, WB, AP), and based on the nomination form, deliberated at ISS Organizing Committee, decided by ISS General chair, and AIST awards the winner.

In principle, the Best Poster Presentation Award shall be one for each area (PC, ED, WB, AP) and one person will be awarded for each area. However, regarding Best Student Prize, when it is recognized that there is a non-negligible contribution, multiple winners can be selected. All prizes may not be awarded as a result of deliberations at ISS Organizing Committee.

The selection will be held during the International Superconducting Symposium, and the General Chair will award the winner at the closing ceremony on the final day of the symposium.

Selection guideline

1) Best Poster Presentation Award
