Overpressure processing (OP) has made Bi-2212 round wire a viable conductor for magnet applications.  This talk will focus on key aspects of Bi-2212 conductors for coil technology, including developments in Bi-2212 powder, aspects of wire architecture and OP heat treatment that affect Jc, potential routes to increased Jc, and application in coils.
