The US Magnet Development Program (MDP) is focused on developing conductors and magnet technology for future collider applications. Here we review the program roadmaps and progress towards program milestones, with particular attention to elements of the program related to coated conductors. A major focus of the MDP is the development and application of advanced modeling and diagnostics that provide inside into conductor and magnet performance and feedback to conductor manufacturers and to magnet design, and we report on developments on those elements, again in particular as they pertain to coated conductors.
